Mental illness can distort our view of God and others. At times, it can also contribute to sinful behavior, especially when combined with declining health. But God has deep compassion for our struggles.
In today’s episode, we explore the importance of staying in tune with our bodies, both mentally and physically. While we cannot avoid challenges in this life, we can experience true peace through God, even in the midst of turmoil. When we are devoted to Him, our whole being becomes steady and secure, unshaken by the chaos around us (Philippians 4:7).

Are you finding it difficult to train your children according to God’s Word? Scripture makes it clear that parents are called to intentionally teach and model God’s truth in the home. The church and Christian schools are valuable, but they were never meant to replace a parent’s responsibility. In this episode, we discuss the importance of faithfully teaching God’s statutes to our children and grandchildren. This is a call to build a lasting legacy of faith, one that equips future generations to know, love, and follow the Lord. When we lead with intention, we lay a foundation that endures far beyond our lifetime.Christian Women Rising is committed to equipping women to raise godly children and lead their families with purpose. This episode is produced by Daniel Anderson at Audio Alchemy Productions.#ChristianWomenRising #Motherhood #Faith #BiblicalParenting #ChristianLiving #Legacy #FaithInAction #GodlyWomen #RaiseThemRight #FamilyFaith

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
On today’s podcast, we celebrate the first anniversary of Christian Women Rising. Scripture instructs us to give thanks in all circumstances, recognizing that God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28) and that His hand is in every situation.
Today, we pause to praise the Lord for allowing us to serve as a platform that helps women of faith live godly lives according to Scripture and remain steadfast in their walk with Him.
Host Angela Butler shares her personal story, the journey of how Christian Women Rising began, and what lies ahead for this ministry.
We are deeply grateful for God’s many blessings, including the dedicated women who have shared the Gospel with us and the financial support that has sustained this podcast throughout the year.
Our hearts and minds are lifted to the Lord in gratitude. God is good, and His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). Let’s celebrate!

God gave marriage as a gift.
Marriage was not just for convenience, nor was it brought about by any culture. It was instituted by God, and throughout the Bible God treats this special union seriously.
If you are married or planning to be married, are you willing to keep the commitment that makes the two of you one?
This episode will cover just that and more!
The union of husband and wife merges two persons in such a way that little can affect one without also affecting the other. The creation story tells of God’s plan that husband and wife should be one (Genesis 2:24)
And marriage looks like Christ and the church (Ephesians 5). Rise to the occasion of looking more like Christ through marriage!

The church is God’s people on the move, a community of sojourners journeying toward the Promised Land. Yet in the busyness of everyday life, we can lose sight of this missional calling, sometimes focusing more on building our own name than bearing witness to His.
In today’s episode, we are reminded that our calling to reflect Christ’s kingdom in both word and action (Matthew 28:18–20) is central and must remain our highest priority. Our missional identity is rooted in the reality that we belong to another city and another kingdom, one whose foundation is established by God (Hebrews 13:14).
As we go forward as people who carry Christ’s name, we invite those around us to encounter and experience the God we know and love.

Society continually presents images and messages that shape how women view themselves, often influencing their sense of worth and identity. These pressures can promote harmful ideas and behaviors, leading some to live with a distorted understanding of who they truly are.
Today, we are reminded and encouraged that our worth, confidence, and value are found in Christ alone, just as God intended. We gain a true and accurate view of ourselves when we look to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Hebrews 12:2.
When feelings of worthlessness arise, or when you are tempted to criticize yourself, remember that you are God’s intentional design. He thinks of you constantly. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and your identity is secure in Christ, Galatians 2:20.

Whether we acknowledge it or not, everyone has habits, but only a few intentionally craft the first part of their day with Jesus. Many people are satisfied with their destination, yet they neglect to enjoy the journey by using the first part of the day wisely.
In Scripture, Jesus took time to pray and to spend time with His Father. Finding that time may not always be easy, but our prayer life and Bible study are vital connections between us and God. Like Jesus, we must make time to be alone with God, even if that means getting up before daybreak.
In today’s podcast, we will learn why spending the first part of our day with Jesus is so important and how being in God’s presence daily helps us handle life’s challenges more easily. Just as the life of a deer depends on water (Psalm 42:1), our lives depend on God. Those who seek Him and long to understand Him find never ending life.
Get ready, ladies, to rise!

As fallen people living in a fallen world, we fail to understand we mishear, misspeak, misunderstand or we are not available when others need us. The result is often hurt, hurt that must be acknowledge and we must seek to forgive.
Today’s episode will teach us that forgiveness is a lifelong event. We cannot just say, “I forgive you” once and move on. To walk in an attitude of mercy, to forgive over and over again each day when we are tempted to be bitter, these acts of faith and obedience keep us anchored in God’s love because our conflicts constantly remind us of how much we need His grace. When we make it our goal to forgive we live like Christ. The wonderful result is that we bear witness to Jesus and proclaim to a watching world that God loves you and sent His Son to die for us (John 17:23).

In today’s society, it can be tempting to focus more on outward appearance rather than on cultivating Christlike character.
While Scripture does not forbid a woman from desiring to be attractive (1 Timothy 2:9), the Bible does teach us that genuine beauty begins within.
A gentle, modest, and loving spirit radiates a beauty that no cosmetic or piece of jewelry can ever replace.
Get ready for a great podcast Today, we will explore the characteristics of a Proverbs 31 woman and give sound biblical principles on how we can faithfully pursue this calling in 2026.

Life has its share of challenges, and when we are in caregiving roles, we may experience moments of frustration. It's easy to feel disheartened when workloads become heavy or we experience emotional fatigue. During challenging moments, caregivers often need encouragement and reassurance.
The essence of being a caregiver stems from our hearts. Having a nurturing heart allows us to engage with and understand those around us better.
This podcast will remind you that within our caregiving roles, God equips us with divine strength (Isaiah 40:29). Every time we uplift someone, we reflect His image more deeply. By serving others, we experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from knowing we are part of a greater purpose. This serves as a beautiful reminder that caring is an act of worship
When we embrace our calling as caregivers and surrender our troubles to God, we find an everlasting wellspring of joy (Proverbs 17:22).
